SETTINGS

Owned Airports
Enter the ICAO codes for airport scenery that you own, separated by commas. As long as the ICAO is in the master database, or you have added it using the "Add New Airport (to Local DB)" option below, and you have selected 'Enable Preferred Routing', the dispatcher will prioritize routes using these airports and highlight the ICAO code in a green colour on the dispatch form to indicate that you own this airport.
Job Ticket Photo Filter
Select 'Static' to remove the animation on the mission image on the contract tickets.
Add New Airport (to Local DB)
Adds a missing airport to your local database so it can be used for departures, arrivals, and owned-airport routing. Latitude and longitude are required for distance and route generation.
Why separate turboprop and business jet?
Even when a runway is long enough on paper, noise rules, weight limits, or missing FBO facilities may still restrict it to turboprops only. Set the highest aircraft category this airport actually supports. Runway length is entered separately and is also checked against each aircraft.

Additional Options

N.B. If 'Military airbase' is selected, this field is only used when 'Use Military Airbases' is enabled in the sidebar Options panel.
What does Add New Airport (to Local DB) do?
Add New Airport (to Local DB): Saves a missing airport to your browser so it appears in the departure search and route picker.
  • Runway length and largest permitted aircraft type control which airframes can use the airport.
  • Coordinates are used for distance, heading, and map routing — look them up if you are unsure.
  • Custom glider strips: set largest permitted aircraft type to Glider strip / winch launch only.
Add New Aircraft (to Local DB)
Adds a missing aircraft to your local fleet list.
N.B. Minimum sector distance is set automatically by the aircraft class. Enter manufacturer maximum range from the POH or AFM. The dispatcher uses this value for routing and range-cap alerts.
N.B. MLW and MZFW are optional. Leave blank if unknown from the POH/AFM — the dispatcher simply won't apply that weight cap for this aircraft. Both must be at or below MTOW.

Mission roles

Tick what this aircraft flies. VECTOR builds the mission list automatically — you do not pick individual briefings here.

Additional Options

Glider Options

Job Ticket FX:

Select one override for this aircraft. Untick the selected option to inherit its category default.
What does Add New Aircraft (to Local DB) do?
Add New Aircraft (to Local DB): Saves an aircraft to your custom database.
  • Mission tags are used to define how the dispatcher classifies aircraft. e.g. Gliders need Aircraft Type: Glider / Sailplane, category Glider, and the appropriate glider options (self-launch, sailplane, etc.).
  • Enter maximum range (nm) from the aircraft manual. This controls sector routing. Minimum sector distance is set automatically by class.
Custom Database Management
N.B. Any custom aircraft and airports that you have added to your local database will be removed if you empty your browser cache. Use the buttons below to create and restore a local backup of your custom database before emptying your browser cache. Logbook Entries are included in the exported file.
What does Reset Custom Database do?
Step-by-Step
  • 1. Confirmation: A dialog asks for permission to wipe custom data.
  • 2. Deletion: Custom airports, custom aircraft, custom mission assignments, Job Ticket FX settings, and your Owned Airports list are removed from your browser's local memory.
  • 3. What about my Logbook?: Your Logbook is not deleted when you click Reset Custom Database. You can clear your logbook entries on the Pilot Logbook page.
  • 4. Reassurance: Clicking Reset Custom Database does not clear your cookies, bookmarks, or browsing history; it only affects the specific VECTOR information listed above.
  • 5. Clean up: The interface will update to reflect the empty database.
What does Export Backup do?
Export Backup saves a local copy of any custom airports, custom aircraft (including Job Ticket FX settings and custom mission settings), your Logbook, and your Owned Airports list.
